At KWI we are guided by the principles of sustainability. We are aware of the scarcity of resources and our responsibility to future generations; therefore, we ensure that our products and manufacturing processes meet the conditions for sustainable development in terms of the three main pillars: environmental, economic, and social.
KWI has been operating and pursuing strict principles of sustainability since its founding year in 1949 by Dr. Milos Krofta when he used dissolved air flotation to help paper manufacturers recover fiber and reuse whitewater. Since then the concept of sustainability has been deeply engrained in our Group culture and it is part of our social responsibility and business model to achieve circular economy for clients across different industries.
We vigorously pursue sustainable approaches in our day-to-day operations and in our manufacturing facilities. We are ISO 14001 certified and are audited by external auditors to the highest quality. The KWI Group established an excellent environmental management system to manage our environmental influences and waste management.
As a corporate citizen and in keeping with out sustainability culture, KWI supports initiatives, campaigns and activities across the world for education and science, art and culture, social affairs and sports.
