KWI’s products have been used in seawater desalination industry all over the world, which include our dissolved air flotation products (DAF), dual media filter, ceramic UF membranes and post-treatment products for remineralization such as lime bin activator.
KWI’s DAF is a proven technology used in the Middle East, South America, Africa, South East Asia and Europe etc. as an effective pre-treatment for seawater desalination systems to remove algae, and lower turbidity.
KWI is experienced in the design and manufacturing of medium- and large-scale horizontal dual media filters such as pressurised filters, V-type filters and variable pore filters to remove total suspended solids and silt before the reverse osmosis. We are ASME and ISO certified.
KWI pre-treatment processes such as DAF and ceramic UF can effectively remove algae. A unique process combination of DAF and ceramic membranes can extend the RO membrane lifespan to 8 years or more.
KWI’s lime water preparation and dosing technology is used as a post-treatment process for permeate from the RO process to reach WHO standards.
